Welcome to EcoRoot Sustainable Eco Packaging. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the purchase of our products. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. General Terms
EcoRoot Sustainable Eco Packaging provides B2B wholesale services for eco-friendly packaging products. Our services are intended for business customers only.
Eligibility
You must be a registered business entity or authorized representative to place orders with us.
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and all activities under your account.
Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when placing orders or communicating with us.
2. Orders and Pricing
Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ)
All products have minimum order quantities as specified on our product pages. MOQs may vary by product category.
Quotations
All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change based on raw material costs and order quantities.
Order Confirmation
Orders are confirmed only upon receipt of the agreed deposit payment and written confirmation from our sales team.
Custom Orders
Custom OEM/ODM orders may require additional lead time and may have different MOQ requirements.
3. Payment Terms
We accept the following payment methods and terms:
- Bank Transfer (T/T): 30% deposit upon order confirmation, 70% balance before shipment
- Letter of Credit (L/C): Available for orders above USD 50,000
- PayPal: Available for sample orders only
- All payments must be made in USD unless otherwise agreed
4. Shipping and Delivery
Lead Time
Standard production lead time is 15-25 days depending on the product and quantity. Rush orders may be accommodated with additional charges.
Shipping Terms
We offer FOB, CIF, and DDP shipping terms. Shipping costs and responsibilities will be specified in the quotation.
Customs and Import Duties
Unless DDP terms are agreed, the buyer is responsible for all customs clearance, import duties, and local taxes.
Risk of Loss
Risk of loss transfers to the buyer according to the agreed shipping terms (Incoterms 2020).
5. Returns and Refunds
Our return and refund policy is as follows:
Quality Issues
If products do not meet agreed specifications, you must notify us within 7 days of receipt with photographic evidence. We will arrange replacement or refund at our discretion.
Custom Orders
Custom OEM/ODM orders are non-refundable once production has commenced, unless due to manufacturing defects.
Shipping Damage
Damage during shipping must be documented at the time of delivery and reported within 48 hours for insurance claims.
6. Product Quality and Certifications
All our products meet international quality and safety standards. Our certifications include:
- BPI Certified (Biodegradable Products Institute)
- FSC Certified (Forest Stewardship Council)
- LFGB Approved (German Food Safety Standard)
- FDA Compliant (US Food Safety)
- ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management)
- ISO 14067 (Carbon Footprint)
Certification documents are available upon request for qualified orders.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of EcoRoot or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
For custom OEM orders, the buyer retains ownership of their own designs and branding. We will not use customer-owned designs for other clients without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our liability is limited to the value of the products purchased
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
- We are not responsible for delays caused by force majeure events
- Product specifications may vary slightly due to the natural materials used
9. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, government actions, pandemics, or supply chain disruptions.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through friendly negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) for arbitration.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
